Notification to staff if email fails to send

When emails fail to process, get stuck, or encounter list errors or other issues that prevent them going out, please notify the user who created the message. As things stand today, only through continually checking back on the BBNC page can one figure out the status of an email.

And even more frustrating is when BBNC registers that there is a problem with the message or list preventing it from going out - like a bad address - but there is still no notification sent to anyone. Users must log into BBNC and several clicks later, are simply told to contact BB Support with the error details anyway, so even checking BBNC becomes pointless. Why can't there be a message sent to the user to contact BB because of this issue?

This is not a new problem and is discussed in this thread as early as 2014 (https://community.blackbaud.com/forums/viewtopic/319/17892) so I am adding this idea per Tony Williams's suggestion.

Is it allowed to promote one's own idea again? I would love a response from BBNC. Thank you.

This is so important. BBNC should absolutely push out notifications when there is an error sending a message. We have problems rarely enough (which is great!) that we are not usually monitoring to make sure a message sends successfully. So then, when there is a problem, we may not discover it till the next day.
