We have multiple events that are split between gift and non gift and what the split is. Right now we have to pick a single fund and split it after it goes into a batch. The different funds for grouped events would come in useful when we have entire weekends full of different activities. We still want to let them register for multiple events at a time, but most of the individual events have their own budget.
I agree, this would be very helpful. We have tried in the past to have all events listed for a weekend such as Homecoming and have to split the fees and gifts on the backend after the event. This is inconvenient for some of our campus groups that rely on event fees to pay for events up front.
