This is really an idea for both RE and NetCommunity. We have an event where constituents are entered as a "guest" of a member of our Women For Health group (who are entered in to the event record as a "registrant." This year we thought we'd try to use NetCommunity for online registration. However, when we process the "guest's" online registration, the system changes their "guest" record to a "registrant" record in the event record - and in the process I lose the "guest of..." data that I need. It does not simply change their registration status (in their "guest" record) from Not Registered to Registered. I think this should be modified so that the registration status changes no matter if they are a "guest" or a "registrant." What I hoped would be a simple solution for taking RSVPs has now turned into just another manual task to do - as if they called or emailed us with their RSVP.
