At the moment when we process an event registration it updates the registration status of the participant record to 'registered' but it does not add a date in the date field next to this. This would be useful to help us segment event registrants by when they registered (for sending out instructions to new registrants and not resending to earlier registrants). We have tried going by the date the participant record is created but for VIP events we often add the participant record on before they have registered with us for tracking, so this date is crucial for us. At the moment it is an exceptionally manual task to complete which takes up resource better used elsewhere.
