Generally speaking, database administrators don't want to delete or override ANYTHING. Old contact information should be kept on the record, even when new information is being added and marked as preferred.
I do not understand why then, when downloading NetCommunity transactions such as donations and new user registrations, the default setting is "Update the preferred address with the downloaded information." I would recommend that the radial button "Add the downloaded information as a new address for this constituent" be the default. This would save us a little time with every transaction processed and help prevent lost information.
This should be a very easy change to make and I believe most users would prefer it. If you agree, please vote for this idea. Thanks!
