We had a query recently about why the address feld was compulsory on the online sign up form. They felt this was not required keeping to the spirit of data minimisation with GDPR. We agreed but obviously really like to collect this information as it helps us match the sign up back to a constituent record in RE and gives us an up to date address. We thought we would be able to make this field non compulsory but leave on the sign up form with an explantaion on why we ask for the address, unfortunately you can't! Please can you add the option to make this field visible with the option of being compulsory or non compulsory?
Completely agree. We would love it if this field was visible but not compulsory.
