| Hello, I recently had a very helpful Blackbaud rep help me wth making changes on our company's site. However, what I really wanted, was to work offline to make changes and so that I can a) save as I go so that I don't lose work/ or split up time to work on a big change and b) have the unpublished version viewable by others for input/approval before I go live. I was surprised to learn that, for my home page, I had to make a copy/ rename the full page and invidual parts that I wanted to change. This doesn't include all the steps needed to make sure that other effected pages are in line and linked up properly. I was hoping that pages could be "checked out" while edits are being made and allow others to view/comment/approve before publishing. My rep suggeted that I submit this recommendation here. I would love to learn of this change very very soon as we are about to go through a rebranding and will need to do ongoing large-scale edits.... hopefully, workable entirely offline before publishing. |
